Fabric Prints of the Pacific Islands

Carve into foam stencils and use stamps to create a fabric print inspired by Samoan tapa (siapo) cloths. Tapa is a type of cloth often decorated by rubbing, stamping, and stenciling geographic designs, as well as symbols based on natural objects, such as leaves and fish.
