School/Outreach Programs

CMOM can bring the same hands-on learning experience we provide at the Museum right to your school, library or community center. Our artist-educators arrive at your facility with their overflowing bag of artifacts, artist materials, skills and enthusiasm. CMOM can teach your students one of our celebrated programs or create a unique workshop to enhance your curriculum as a single workshop or a series of workshops around a single thematic program.

Students explore the process of authorship and illustration to develop critical thinking skills and foster a lifetime love of books and reading. All sessions conform to National and New York State Common Core Standards and are individually adapted to each grade level.
