Sachiyo Ito and Company will present exquisitely beautiful and elegant Japanese classical dances from the 19th century, and a work choreographed by Sachiyo Ito. Sachiyo Ito and Company is dedicated to creating a bridge between the US and Japan through artistic performances and educational programs.

Presented in collaboration with the Center for Traditional Music and Dance.

CMOM Artists in Residence: Theresa Hong

The Children’s Museum hosts artist, designer, and origami master Theresa Hong. From micro to giant origami, Theresa’s designs are used in set-design, photography, fashion, film, events, concerts and parades. Visitors to CMOM will meet Theresa Hong as she produces her work—openly welcoming questions, discussions on her process and concepts in a live studio environment.
