Award winning exhibitions at the Children’s Museum of Manhattan are created and built by a team of educational specialists and designers based on the idea that students learn by doing. Interactive components and larger-than-life environments encourage students to explore in new ways, making learning come alive. Choose from the following theme-based tours for your visit to the Children’s Museum of Manhattan. Each program lasts 90 minutes, is led by a museum educator and includes a guided tour of an interactive exhibition and a hands-on workshop. A packet ofpre-visit activities with suggested vocabulary and additional resources will be emailed with final confirmation. All tours conform to New York State and City Performance Standards and are individually adapted to each grade level. |
