Storytime with Denise Rosario Adusei: CESARIA FEELS THE BEAT
In honor of Disability Awareness Month, join us for a special reading with Denise Rosario Adusei and her brand-new book Cesaria Feels the Beat as well as an interactive sign language activity to follow! In this powerful and inspiring picture book, Cesaria, a deaf girl, stands up for herself by removing her shoes during her Carnival dance performance so she can feel the music and rhythm through her bare feet.
