Know Before You Go

What Age Group is CMOM Designed For?

CMOM is designed especially for children ages 0–6, a time of important brain development and growth. Our hands-on exhibits and programs support early learning through play, creativity, and exploration. While older children may enjoy select exhibits and programs, most of our spaces are specifically created for toddlers, preschoolers, and early elementary-age kids. We encourage grown-ups to play too!

Food & Drink

To keep our exhibits clean, safe for play, and free of allergens, food and beverages are not allowed inside the building. While CMOM does not offer a cafeteria, you are welcome to leave and return throughout the day to enjoy nearby dining options and discount offers.

Strollers

For your convenience, complimentary stroller and coat check is available at CMOM. To ensure a safe and comfortable experience for all visitors, strollers are not permitted in exhibit areas.

School Group Visits

Visiting with a group of 15 or more students, campers, or a large party? We offer specially curated 90-minute guided tours led by our expert educators. Advanced reservations are required to ensure the best experience for your group. Visit our Guided Groups Visit page and contact our team for more information.

Accessibility

CMOM is committed to being a welcoming space for all visitors. The Museum is wheelchair accessible. Please note that the lower level of the Dynamic H2O exhibition has limited accessibility. Personal care attendants accompanying visitors with disabilities receive free admission.
