Did you know that plants can tell us stories about the places where they grow? Indigenous peoples across North America have shared deep knowledge of native plants, including thimbleberry, red huckleberry, wild rose. The Lenape people have also used plants such as milkweed and bloodroot for food, medicine, and making useful things. Explore these plants and others through their colors, textures, and shapes as you create your own botanical watercolor artwork.
