CMOM’s Winter Metropolis

December 5–31, 2026

The Children’s Museum of Manhattan transforms into a sprawling, hand-built winter city this holiday season – and visitors help build it! Kids ages 0–6 will help by creating and adding glowing decorations, mini architectural sculptures, and tiny transportation systems to a collaborative installation that grows all month long, kicking off December 5 with a special build session led by cardboard artist Dan Jones and culminating in CMOM’s Annual New Year’s Eve Ball Drop.
