Join the Parent Circle

The Parent Circle is a community of parents committed to raising creative, empathetic, curious children. Together, we’re working to ensure that all children, across every background and ability, have access to joyful, high-quality early learning experiences that nurture emotional growth, spark imagination, inspire critical thinking, and build a strong foundation for school and beyond.

Parent Circle members benefit from CMOM’s unique ability to convene parents, educators, and leading thinkers on issues that are deeply relevant to families. Activities throughout the year include curated conversations with experts in child development, family volunteer days, evening social outings, private Museum playdates, and field trips to interesting places.

Importantly, your membership at one of the giving levels listed below provides direct support for CMOM’s work, including free daily programs, arts-based learning, parenting workshops, live performances, and outreach efforts designed for the City’s most at-risk children, including those impacted by homelessness and parental incarceration.

We hope you will join the Parent Circle today.

About the Children's Museum of Manhattan

The Children’s Museum of Manhattan was founded by educators as a grassroots effort to address the loss of arts programming in New York City public schools during the 1970s fiscal crisis. Since then, it has grown into a national leader in early learning and child development. Over more than 50 years, CMOM has provided millions of children with everything from high-quality early learning to arts access, wellness programs, and introductions to science, world cultures, and the wonders of our environment and why we must care for it. The Museum is also committed to going wherever children and families need it, including on Rikers Island, in countless public schools and libraries, and in more than 55 NYC shelters—another 11 sites will come online over the next 2 years. It also hosts special field trips for public school students in District 75, including the Mickey Mantle School for children with disabilities. This work builds on CMOM’s deep partnership with NYC’s Departments of Education, Homeless Services, and Correction.
